It is with mixed feelings that we announce the retirement of Glenn Schanel, who founded this firm almost 30 years ago. After spending the first decade of his career at a “Big 8” accounting firm, and another decade as an executive in the financial services industry, he returned to public accounting by founding Schanel & Associates in the mid-1990s. His vision was to provide the local community with access to professional services usually reserved for clients of the largest accounting firms.
With the help of his loyal staff, he used his experience, knowledge and extraordinary work ethic to grow the firm from just a few clients to what it is today. His retirement is well deserved and he will be missed.
